Terms and conditions

Version: September 2026

1. Scope

These terms apply to all contracts concluded via https://eori.lt between EAS International (Urs Zimmermann, Klybeckstr. 141, 4057 Basel, Schweiz; legal address, no customer traffic; e-mail: info@eori.lt; hereinafter “provider”) and the customer (consumer or business).

It is the customer’s responsibility to check before ordering that an application for a Lithuanian EORI number is possible for them. Companies established in another EU member state do not receive a Lithuanian EORI number. If an order is placed despite this, the fee is not refunded once the service has been started or fully performed.

2. Subject of the contract

We provide an administrative service: checking the data provided by the customer for completeness, preparing the written EORI application and the power of attorney, and submitting them by e-mail to the competent territorial customs office of Lietuvos muitinė on behalf of the customer. The EORI number is issued solely by Customs; we have no influence on the issuing, processing time or activation. Applications can also be submitted directly to Customs free of charge.

3. Conclusion of contract

The contract is concluded when the customer completes and signs the form, accepts these terms and the privacy policy, expressly requests the immediate start of the service (see the information on the right of withdrawal) and completes the card payment or reports the bank transfer.

4. Services and duties of the customer

The customer is obliged to provide complete and correct information and the required documents (in particular a recent company register extract). We do not check the information for accuracy or plausibility. The customer is responsible for the customs office and first customs formality named in the application.

  • checking the data for completeness,
  • preparing the written application and the power of attorney,
  • submitting them to the competent territorial customs office and passing on Customs’ messages.

5. Price and payment

The fee is € 149,00 per application, fixed, without VAT (see section 10). Payment is made by card (Stripe) or by SEPA bank transfer with the reference stated at checkout. An electronic invoice is provided.

We start processing after receipt of payment. Note: the application can be submitted to Customs free of charge.

6. Performance

We usually submit the application within one working day after receipt of payment and of all required data. Missing or incorrect data may cause delays; we will contact you in that case. The service is performed when the application has been submitted to the customs office. Customs’ processing time is beyond our control.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. It expires early when the service has been fully performed with the customer’s express consent before the end of the withdrawal period. See the information on the right of withdrawal.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence our liability is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to typical, foreseeable damage. We are not liable for decisions, delays or rejections by Customs, nor for consequences of incorrect or incomplete data provided by the customer.

9. Power of attorney

The customer authorises us to prepare the application on their behalf, to submit it to Lietuvos muitinė and to communicate with Customs about it. The authorisation ends with the completion of the application. It is confirmed by the customer’s signature in the form.

10. VAT

No VAT is stated on the invoice because the provider is not subject to VAT (Art. 10(2)(a) Swiss VAT Act).

11. Languages

The contract can be concluded in English, Lithuanian or German. If translations differ, the English version prevails.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is Basel (Switzerland). Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the customer’s country of residence, in particular within the European Union, remain unaffected.
